The Reverend Dr. Barbara Thomas-Reddick was born and raised in Greenville,
Florida to the late Mr. Kinsey Thomas, Korean War, and Mrs. Matilda
Thomas. She has 12 siblings, she is happily married to Mr. Jewell Jerome
Reddick and they together through marriage have seven children and 9
grandchildren. She graduated from Greenville High School and furthered her
education at North Florida Junior College. She was accepted at Covenant Bible
college and dual enrolled at South Western Christian University in Bethany,
pklahoma and received her double Master's Degree. She completed her 2-
year internship in the Clinical Pastoral Education Program and was the first
African American and first lady to be accepted in Clinical Pastoral Education
Program at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She then was accepted in the
dPE Residency program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland
ahd receivéd 2400 CPE Clinical Hours. She received training under Dr. Ben
Carson who was candidacy for 2013 Presidential Election. She is now presently
employed with The Refuge House and provides substance abuse treatment in
her spare time through her own program, The Holistic Plan of Care Outpatient
Treatment. She enjoys playing the piano and is a Gospel Recording Artist. One
of her spngs was recently accepted in a movie out in Los Angeles and the
release date for the Movie/ Love Don't Lie written by Stanley Walker, Jr.
and will be released in the year of 2020. She is an Author of two books
"The Presence of A Chaplain" and My Personal Tapestry of Life Student
Handbook. In addition, she pastors at Brim Fountain and Springhill AME
Chutch. Her most recent song, "If God Don't Do It, It Won't Get Done" has
been viewed by over 5,000,000 viewers via Facebook, Instagram, and
Tweeter. Recently, Dr. Reddick launched a new program in Monticello, FL, The
Sherif Hobbs, "Behind the Badge" Foundation. This program awardsa
scholarship to a high school senior to assist them with their higher
education. In her spare time, she enjoys family time, traveling, reading and
